"You're not you when you're hungry"

The following is a comparison-contrast of two commercials: "Snickers Betty White Super Bowl 2010" and "Snickers Road Trip.

The similarities in these two commercials would obviously be the product, Snickers. They also use humor to grab the interest of who is watching the commercial, but then throw in a well known celebrity to really catch your attention. Each commercial says, "You're not you when you're hungry." Hense, the two celebrities. In the first commercial, they use Betty White and in the second commercial they chose Liza Menilli. The target audience is for anyone who enjoys this candy, including all ages.

Although they are both the same product, they have differences. In the first commercial, it's a team of football players playing a game. This commercial also aired during the Super Bowl of 2010. This was a smart move by Snickers because there are millions of people who watch this event, sometimes just for the commercials. The player she is playing has a louder and more hostile voice, which really has you tune in. In the second commercial, it's a more laid back setting, a simple car ride with some friends. Liza's voice has no loud tone to it, therefore, it doesn't grab the attention the other video did.
